Top countries to visit in 2020

1. Bhutan

Buddhist beliefs and a high-value, low impact tourism policy (which compels travellers to pay a daily visitor fee), has enabled Bhutan to become a world leader in sustainability. Not only is Bhutan the world’s only carbon-negative country, it’s set to become the world’s first fully organic country in 2020.

2. England

In 2020 new sections of the English Coast Path continue to open, enabling both locals and tourists more opportunities to walk the stunning English coastline. Once complete, the path 3,000-mile path will be the longest continuous trail of its kind in the world.

Rich in Greek, Roman and Ottoman heritage, North Macedonia has a fascinating past and a complex national identity. It is renowned for gastronomy, ancient tradition and nature. 7. The Netherlands

2020 marks 75 years since the end of WWII. To commemorate, the Netherlands will feature special exhibitions, remembrance events, and liberation festivities throughout the year. Morocco is a gateway to Africa and a country of dizzying diversity, where you will find epic mountain ranges, ancient cities, sweeping deserts and warm hospitality. Thanks to improved infrastructure, it’s easy to get around by road, and Africa’s high-speed train can get you from Casablanca to Tangier in just two hours.
